BabyBrowns, an online baby boutique, announced today it has been sold to new owners who have moved the business from its current Bloomington, IN location. Troy and Bethany Beaver are a husband and wife team who will own and operate the online store and they have relocated the business to Overland Park, KS.
"We are extremely excited to be acquiring BabyBrowns and are dedicated to continuing the company's commitment to provide the highest quality products and customer service," said Bethany Beaver, new co-owner of BabyBrowns. "As a mother of two young children, I have a good perspective on what unique baby products moms are looking for that you can't find at the mega discount chains."
The new owners have plans for significant improvements in the future, but no dramatic changes will be immediately experienced by its online shoppers. "We want to take a little time and get to know our customers and suppliers and ensure there is no disruption in service through the transition," said Troy Beaver, new co-owner of BabyBrowns. "However, we also will be working quickly to add innovative new baby products moms are looking for and upgrading our web site to improve the online shopping experience."
In addition to the online store, the company maintains a blog, an email newsletter, and uses social media such as Facebook to stay connected with its customers. "We will begin immediately leveraging and enhancing these communication tools and adding many new ones." said Troy Beaver. "We want BabyBrowns.com to become a place moms turn for helpful design advice and recommendations related to baby merchandise and nursery decor," said Bethany Beaver.
